LEVAN TSUTSKIRIDZE graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Graphical Arts of the State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi. Numerous works of his are exhibited in Tbilisi, Moscow and Yerevan. Between 1970 and 1995 he had personal exhibitions in Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria, Germany, Yugoslavia, Japan and USA. From his recent works the most remarkable ones are the frescoes on the walls of the Georgian Cathedral “Sioni” and book designs and illustrations that reflect fully his devotion to literature and poetry. Levan Tsutskiridze’s works are the best evidence of his striking talent. His style inherits much from the Georgian fresco traditions, but is developed into a unique experience.
